The City of Moses Lake - in Central Washington, is easily located
from Interstate 90, coming from either Seattle or Spokane ( Map )
Moses Lake is located about 75 miles South/East of Wenatchee....

Moses Lake Parks And Recreation -&- Moses Lake Skate Park..


The Moses Lake BMX Track is located at the
Larson Recreation Center ( BMX ) - 610 Yakima Avenue ( map )
Take the exit 176 off I-90, go east on W. Broadway approx 1 - mile.
Then turn on to Yakima Avenue by Lumbermans and Larson Park ball
fild, The BMX Track is at end of street next to the Recreation Center.




The Moses Lake BMX track layout is of a letter M style ( track-M-layout.jpg )
Built by Billy Allen in the fall of year 2004 and is an ABA sanctioned BMX track.
Moses Lake BMX track has been quoted as one of the best tracks in the state....
The Moses Lake BMX track is host to around 20 BMX racing events a year.....
Each BMX race brings in athletes of all ages from all over the Pacific Northwest.

The Moses Lake BMX Track is Operated by the Moses Lake BMX Organization with
assistance of the Moses Lake Parks & Recreation Department Larson Recreation Center.
When the track is not a ABA BMX sanctioned event, The BMX track is open to the public
as a Recreational BMX track. Please See and Note the - Recreational BMX Track Rules.

Moses Lake, Washington ( Gene`s BMX News ) -- 09/13/2011
Melody Johnston, the new President of the Moses Lake BMX Track sent us a message letting
us know that are Gene`s BMX support of the Moses Lake BMX Track is not welcome anymore.



In Quote: Youre comments regarding our 9/11 race were counter productive to promoting
Moses Lake BMX and BMX as a sport. We chose not to associate with an organization
that does not share the same views as us.

Number 01 - Gene`s BMX.com web site point of view of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist events
has been about of the same content for 10 years. Not much has changed, Have a look for your self:
9-11-2001 Pages: 2011, - 2010, - 2009, - 2008, - 2007, - 2006, - 2005, - 2004, - 2003, - 2002, - 2001.
In all, my September 11th, 2001 pages has nothing to do with Moses Lake BMX Track or events.

Number 02 - Gene`s BMX.com is Not an organization. Gene`s BMX.com is just a personal
BMX web site as one of my hobbies to help in support BMX in all on the World Wide Web.
Gene`s BMX.com is one of the most comprehensive BMX related web sites of BMX Links
and BMX information sources. In no way is my Gene`s BMX.com web site an organization.
It is all independent and webmasterd for over 15 years by me Geneb - Gene`s BMX.com
Gene`s BMX, one of the biggest Moses Lake BMX Track supporters online even before the
Moses Lake BMX Track was built, and is an ABA BMX Member Racer - Not an organization.

Gene`s BMX does not know what the Moses Lake BMX views are, but it looks unwelcoming.
In respect of what Melody Johnston, the new President of the Moses Lake BMX Track said,
"We chose not to associate with an organization that does not share the same views as us."

Since the Moses Lake BMX Track has unwelcome Gene`s BMX.com, there is no point
for Gene`s BMX.com to give anymore support on to the Moses Lake BMX Track. - So,
We at Gene`s BMX.com will NOT be updating are Moses Lake BMX pages anymore but
all the Moses Lake BMX content and information that is listed from the past, it will be left
on Gene`s BMX.com for archived historical research purposes. Gene`s BMX.com web site
will no longer be supporting the Moses Lake BMX Track as of this September 13th, 2011.

This is somewhat sad to think this is how a person gets re-payed for all the support they have
done for the Moses Lake BMX Track over the years. Sad, but Gene`s BMX.com will keep
on BMXing on the world wide web but with out supporting the Moses Lake BMX Track. The
Moses Lake BMX Track is a nice track for some fun Recreational BMX riding but as for its
sanctioned BMX racing, It does not sound like a friendly place that I would want go to now days.

Racing will start ASAP after registration closes.
Practice will be available during registriation.

* Double Point Races: $TBA.
* Triple Point Races: $TBA.
* Opens: $TBA.
* Gate Practice: $TBA.

RFL = Race For Life. No ABA Membership Required.
SCR = State Championship Qualifier - double point races.
RCQ = Redline Cup Qualifier.

*** Larson Recreation Center BMX Track Rules ***

* Use at your own risk. This facility is not supervised.
* Use of protective equipment, including securely fastened helmets,
knee and elbow pads, wrist and shin guards, is strongly recommended.
* Bicycle cross bar, stem, and top tube pads are also recommended.
* No motorized vehicles are permitted on the track.
* Homemade or professionally constructed obstacles, ramps,
jumps, or other modifications may not be added to the track.
* No alcohol, drugs, tobacco products or glass containers are allowed at this facility.
* BMX track is open for the public use from 8:00 a.m. - Sunset.
* This facility is operated by the Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department.
* Please call 509-766-9240 to report any vandalism or any unsafe track conditions.
* Please Protect & Preserve Your Facility
