Gene`s BMX News ( Quote ) -- 02/26/2008 From November 2007 in to February 2008 Gene`s BMX has seen a lot of people in the BMX community on-line and off-line asking about on where they could get Official US Olympic BMX T-Shirts. We had an email from someone in Oregon asking this same question but more in-depth asking about BMX US Olympic pins and BMX Olympic products on where to find and get them in support of BMX being in 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. We told this person to check out some sporting stores in his area to see if they had any Olympic products for sale, if they do he might find BMX Olympic products in the mix of it all. The person emailed back two weeks latter saying that some of the sporting stores had some Olympic products for sale but they did not have anything for BMX Olympic products. Gene`s BMX also went out to a few sporting stores to check out to see about finding some official BMX Olympic products in Wenatchee, Washington and found about the same, just a few Olympic products but nothing with BMX Olympic Games. On the world wide web the US Olympics has an official web site for sales of the Olympic Games so we have been sending people to the official web site to find BMX Olympic Games products. But once again lots and lots of official Olympic Games products but nothing showing the sport of BMX.  ( http://www.usolympicshop.com ) Gene`s BMX took a web surf this last Monday on the official US Olympic Shop.com to just check it out twice. We surfed up and down the web site and still found nothing for the sport BMX. So we thought we would email the official US Olympic Shop.com and ask about things. Thank you for visiting the www.usolympicshop.com Sincerely, Ronda Customer Service -------------------- Gene`s BMX has to say that they are quick on replying to question via email as the time stamps shows that but it did not much help in finding any official BMX Olympic Games products like US Olympic BMX T-Shirts and more. So you would think they would have something for BMX by now. They do not : ( We will quote that they do have some nice Olympic Games products for the 2008 Beijing, China Games, but as a BMXer I would like to support BMX in the Olympic Games not some other sport that we know nothing about. So the question about how to get official 2008 BMX Beijing, China Olympic Games products to help in support of are sport ( BMX ) Is still up in the air today. |
